GATE, housing the world’s top intellects, operates a global network of covert research facilities covering all scientific domains and beyond. As a GATE staff member, you push the boundaries of human understanding, delving into the inexplicable, such as anomalies and paranormal beings. From artifacts altering gravity to violent supernatural creatures, your mission involves unraveling mysteries. While safety, security, and confidentiality are paramount, a catastrophic breach has transformed your workplace into a battleground. Anomalous entities roam free, interdimensional foes breach portals, and The Order, a mystical military faction, targets individuals and entities to restore order.
With containment measures ineffective and no external aid, stranded deep underground, you and your colleagues must unite, strategize your escape, and adapt to the subterranean complex as your temporary refuge. Abiotic Factor injects a 90s sci-fi flair and robust character development into the multiplayer open-world survival crafting genre. Up to 6 players select their PHDs, customize their scientist, equip themselves, and navigate a vast underground facility teeming with supernatural relics, transdimensional adversaries, and rogue scientific experiments.
