The Axis Unseen is a heavy metal horror game developed by a team member from the creators of Skyrim, Starfield, and Fallout. In this mysterious open world, players hunt nightmarish creatures drawn from ancient folklore, collecting their enhanced powers and discovering elemental arrows along the way. However, be cautious—the hunter can quickly become the hunted.

In this game, players track and hunt folklore monsters, following their trails and blood paths while being mindful of the wind direction to avoid detection. The user interface is seamlessly integrated into the game world; players must check their quiver for arrows, while tattoos on their hands illuminate to indicate health and active powers. The bow displays the energy collected from defeated creatures and the noise generated by the player.
The Axis Unseen features an original soundtrack by Clifford Meyer, known for his work with the influential post-metal bands ISIS and Red Sparowes. The music combines heavy metal with primitive instruments, dynamically adjusting to the game’s atmosphere—sometimes creating an immersive backdrop, and at other times delivering intense metal riffs.
