This game marks the first fully realized Action RPG in the mainline Final Fantasy series, set in a vast dark fantasy world where powerful Eikons and the Dominants who wield them determine the fate of the realm. The story follows Clive Rosfield, the “First Shield of Rosaria,” a warrior committed to protecting his younger brother Joshua, the Dominant of the Phoenix. However, a tragic event soon forces Clive into a quest for vengeance against the Dark Eikon Ifrit, a destructive force that leaves chaos in its wake.
Titanic Clashes – Engage in epic battles as rival Dominants clash, summoning their Eikons for monumental confrontations!
Eikonic Action – Clive wields the power of multiple Eikons in fast-paced, dynamic combat. With an array of swordplay techniques and Eikonic abilities, you can choose which skills to master or upgrade.
For a more streamlined experience, automatic upgrades are available. Players who prefer a more narrative-focused approach can select a story mode, where Clive will automatically evade certain attacks and perform Eikonic combos with simple button presses. Alternatively, an action mode offers complete control over Clive’s every move, allowing experienced players to fully test their combat skills.
