While working on cultural relic identification, an archaeology professor stumbles upon an unassuming slate map that holds the key to the long-lost tomb of the Southwest King. Eager to uncover the tomb’s hidden treasures, the professor forms a special archaeological team, enlisting a group of skilled individuals, including feng shui experts, to assist in exploring ancient tombs, recovering relics, and earning honorary medals in the process.
As the team delves deeper into the tomb, they begin to encounter strange and unsettling events. Drawing from Chinese folk traditions, Dread Tomb immerses players in the eerie and captivating atmosphere of ancient tomb exploration, complete with magical mechanisms, supernatural monsters, and otherworldly horrors.
