Dreadzone is a gritty survival game set within a lethal quarantine zone. Scavenge for supplies, craft essential tools, build your shelter, and fight to stay alive against feral beasts, relentless zombies, mutated horrors, and ruthless survivors. In this unforgiving wasteland, desperation reigns—and survival means doing whatever it takes. The year is 2030. Humanity teeters on the edge of extinction. A catastrophic virus—Zeno-29—has ravaged the globe, turning the infected into grotesque mutants and plunging civilization into chaos. In a desperate attempt to contain the outbreak, governments sealed off thousands of infected zones—abandoned, lawless wastelands where the infected are exiled to face their fate. You are one of the infected.
Cast into a remote and decaying quarantine zone scattered with collapsing factories, derelict homes, underground bunkers, and untamed wilderness, your only goal is to survive. Resources are limited, threats are everywhere, and the virus is slowly consuming you from within. Scavenge what you can. Hunt for food, explore forgotten ruins, trade with fellow survivors, and take on dangerous missions. Build shelters to shield yourself from the harsh environment and lurking enemies. Craft weapons, tools, and vital supplies. Smelt ore, cook meals, and prepare for the relentless fight to stay alive.
