Unlike typical conversions, this mod offers a complete transfer of all missions from the original game, delivering a unique gaming experience enhanced by the advanced physics and mechanics of the RAGE engine. While the official remaster utilizes the Unreal Engine solely for rendering, it still relies on the outdated RenderWare physics engine, which was released over 20 years ago and features antiquated mechanics and animations.
Our mod employs a next-generation engine—though not the absolute latest version—making it the only viable option for creating a modification with an original storyline. This is the reason behind the name Nextgen Edition. We have worked diligently to integrate the best elements from previous iterations of the game, allowing the beloved Vice City to shine anew.
