Helskate is an action-packed skateboarding roguelite game where players grind, perform tricks, and chain combos to enhance their attacks and defeat the monsters of Vertheim. Players can customize their playstyle by combining and upgrading various weapons and gear as they navigate the challenging labyrinth repeatedly. Traverse Vertheim using classic arcade-style skating techniques like grinding, wall riding, and manuals. Experiment with different weapons, gear, and tapes to create powerful and unique builds for each playthrough. Enhance your abilities permanently by acquiring tattoos that provide an edge against enemies. Engage in combat with electrifying sword slashes, fiery bursts, poisonous shurikens, and explosive charges while executing impressive tricks like ollies and kickflips to gain special abilities and buffs. Challenge the Gods of Skating by competing against the God of Vert Ramps’ score and ascending to confront the Ancient God of Skating by exploiting their weaknesses.
