The strange creature behind the desk insists you play their handcrafted board game. In it, you take on the role of a captain in search of a fabled place whispered only as the Abyss. To get there, you’ll need to conquer a continent, secure an airship, and sail through cursed skies—though, more accurately, you’ll assemble a crew to handle the hard work for you.
Victory won’t come easily. The game master won’t be beaten in a single attempt, and no two runs will ever play the same. But with a sharp mind, careful strategy, and unshakable resolve, you just might claim your prize. Command a growing collection of unique units in a turn-based strategy game where every piece is a member of your loyal—if expendable—crew. Upgrade and refine them between missions to better serve your grand designs.
Discover new unit classes by solving cryptic puzzles and delving into the shadowy chambers that lie beyond the desk. Pay no attention to the dark stains on the carpet. Throughout each run, expand your roster by recruiting defeated enemies. Whether they joined willingly or not is beside the point—they’ll spill blood for your cause either way.
