Red Glare is an immersive real-time tactics game set during World War II. In this game, you assume the role of agents from the OSS, the predecessor to the CIA, as you engage in a covert operation to thwart a secret German expedition in South America. With a diverse roster of five well-balanced characters and a captivating story campaign that spans across various terrains such as jungles, deserts, and snowy landscapes, Red Glare will evoke nostalgic memories of classic real-time tactics games. The inclusion of dynamic Day/Night cycles in each map adds an extra layer of strategy, presenting new scenarios within the same missions. Utilize the cover of darkness to your advantage, as enemy view cones are reduced during nighttime, except for enemies equipped with flashlights and enemy snipers. Additionally, enemies are unable to detect footprints at night.
