But their peace was not to last. One fateful day, slave traders descended upon the village, shattering their quiet lives. Oretti was captured and sold to Gulos, the ruthless overlord of Jerez’s most forsaken district—a place where hope withers and cruelty reigns. Trapped in this grim world, Oretti meets Shanta, a fellow captive who has long given up on freedom, and Ailofen, the once-legendary Elven Empress now forced to fight in the brutal underground arenas.
