Karma: The Dark World is a first-person cinematic psychological thriller set in a dystopian future, where the all-powerful Leviathan Corporation casts a dark shadow over society. It’s 1984, in an alternate East Germany, and nothing is as it seems. The Leviathan Corporation reigns with absolute control, monitoring citizens through constant surveillance, enforcing rigid social classes, administering mind-altering drugs, and offering the illusion of Utopia to those who comply.
You play as Daniel McGovern, a Roam Agent working for Leviathan’s Thought Bureau. Armed with cutting-edge technology, you can delve into the minds of the accused to uncover the truth. Investigate crime scenes, question suspects, and report your findings back to the corporation. Venture into the distorted landscapes of suspects’ memories, where unspeakable horrors await in the darkest corners of their minds. As you navigate these twisted realities, your grip on sanity will be tested. Can you discern what’s real and what’s a hallucination, or will you lose yourself in the blur between the two?
