When the sun sets, the Seethe emerge—malevolent beings slipping through the Torii Gates from the other world, cloaked in darkness and bent on capturing the Maiden. Crafted with meticulous detail and vision, the game’s setting draws you into a haunting and mystical world. You play as Soh, a swordsman sworn to protect Yoshiro, the Maiden of the mountain. As night falls, Soh must face the Seethe with graceful, dance-like swordplay—each strike a blend of elegance and deadly precision. But Soh does not stand alone. Villagers blessed with sacred roles stand beside him. It’s up to you to strategically place them, assigning roles that will turn the tide of battle. Where should they fight? Who will support Yoshiro? And which enemies should Soh target first? Every night brings shifting threats, demanding quick thinking and adaptive tactics. Survive until dawn, and guide Yoshiro to a Torii Gate. If the sun still shines, she can perform her Kagura dance to purify the gate—pushing back the Seethe and bringing peace to the mountain once more. Defend the Maiden. Outlast the night. Restore harmony to a world on the edge.
