As he contemplates the transformation of St. Juliana Hospital into a hub of unethical practices, he must also navigate the challenges posed by his own shortcomings and unlikable nature, which could jeopardize the Night Shift before it even begins.
Among his new recruits is Ren, a candidate for a nursing position in the special ward. To Hirasaka, she represents the ideal test subject, embodying the image of an “angel in white” with her striking appearance and dedicated approach to patient care. Upon their first encounter, Ren’s candid demeanor prompts her to engage with Hirasaka sincerely and respectfully, rather than shying away from him.
