As the village chief, your main objective is to protect your village from the relentless creatures that inhabit the woods. Unlike other city builder games, Black Forest focuses on defense rather than expansion and development. You will need to strategically assign villagers, gather resources, and reinforce defenses to maintain a delicate balance until the king’s knights arrive. It’s important to note that every decision you make in the game has consequences, and any losses you experience will be permanent. As night falls, the horde of forest-dwellers will test your ability to govern and survive. Until the king’s knights arrive, you and your villagers are completely on your own.
