Experience beautifully animated dialogues between the main characters as you accompany a young boy on his journey through a challenging sci-fi landscape. “Boyhood’s End” is a juvenile science fiction horror adventure game set in a world dominated by a mechanical overlord known as “R. Karellen.”
In this society, every individual’s life is quantified by a “human score,” which R. Karellen uses to dictate everything from educational and career paths to romantic relationships and daily meals. Please note that this game includes depictions of bullying and violence. The protagonist, Giovanni, possesses the lowest human score among all humans. As a result, he receives “special treatment” in various aspects of his life, including meals and classes, while enduring relentless bullying from his classmates both in person and online.
One fateful day, the entire school turns against Giovanni, attempting to “remake” him in an effort to elevate his human score and make him “more human.” In the midst of this turmoil, a senior student known for his eccentric genius, Campanella, reaches out to Giovanni. Together, they commandeer a driverless train on the galactic railroad, embarking on a quest to locate the “Crimson Southern Cross,” situated at the farthest reaches of the universe. Throughout their adventure, the boys will encounter historical figures and engage in reckless, destructive “pranks.” As they navigate through twisted mysteries and the horrors of their world, they will ultimately confront the conclusion of their childhood.
