In the aftermath of her second adventure, “Through the Looking-Glass,” Alice experiences a tragic event where her house is accidentally set ablaze, resulting in the loss of her family and leaving her as the sole survivor. Over time, Alice becomes disconnected from reality and is admitted to Rutledge Asylum for observation and treatment under the care of Dr. Heironymous Wilson. In Rutledge, Alice’s only possession is a stuffed rabbit. Ten years later, Alice is unexpectedly drawn back into a distorted version of Wonderland, a manifestation of her own fractured mind. The White Rabbit calls upon Alice to help restore Wonderland, which has been twisted under the oppressive rule of the Queen of Hearts. Throughout her journey, Alice is accompanied by the enigmatic Cheshire Cat, who provides cryptic guidance along the way.
