Along the way, you’ll encounter intriguing events, such as environmental groups protecting rat swarms or goblin salesmen offering savings plans. Choose wisely from these options to further your progress—but beware, things don’t always go as planned!
When engaging in battle, you summon units by placing cards on the summon tiles. Unlike traditional card games, these units spring to life on the battlefield, automatically engaging with enemy forces. After each turn, your summoned units act according to their roles, moving and fighting on their own. Every battle involves careful tactical decisions—think anvil vs. hammer, flanking, and more—as you analyze enemy patterns and select the best cards for each turn.
Did you complete your journey, or did your run end early? No matter the outcome, every experience brings valuable lessons. At the end of each run, you’ll be scored in various ways, earning experience points based on your performance. Level up your race and commanders, unlocking new cards, relics, and commander skills to bring with you into future challenges. The journey is never over—each new run offers fresh opportunities to test your strategies and improve your deck for even greater triumphs!
