Deadlink is a cyberpunk first-person shooter (FPS) game featuring roguelite elements. As the inaugural recruit to the experimental Deadlink project, you take control of an autonomous combat shell and navigate through various urban environments, including slums, labs, warehouses, and office buildings. Your objective is to disrupt the plans of powerful corporations by wielding a diverse arsenal, upgrading skills and technology, destroying destructible surroundings, and undermining corporate profits.
Tasked as the Corporate Security Agency’s primary asset, your mission is to expose the vulnerabilities of these corporations and their illicit activities. Supported by headquarters, you are thrust into high-stakes scenarios where swift military interventions offer cost-effective solutions compared to legal battles. Each playthrough is unique due to randomization, but the constant challenge remains: facing overwhelming odds. Adaptability is key as you maneuver dynamically, utilizing the environment strategically to outmaneuver adversaries.
Continuous movement is essential, as your foes relentlessly attack with ample resources. Despite potential setbacks, the game rewards persistence by enhancing skills and firepower with each new attempt, ensuring a progressively formidable combat experience.
