– An Endless Journey: Create your Bucket List by gathering goals throughout your Sim’s life, starting from Young Adulthood. Goals will be influenced by your Sim’s traits and family connections, with the option to add personal choices. While you can remove items, completing them offers significant rewards. If a Sim’s life concludes with unfinished goals, they can dedicate their afterlife to resolving their Unfinished Business. The ultimate reward for completing the list is the chance to be Reborn, though you may also choose to Move On or remain as a Ghost.
– A Ghastly, Gorgeous Life: Embrace death as a career by reaping souls, assisting Ghosts, and managing hauntings as part of Grim’s team. Alternatively, become a Mortician and approach death from the living’s perspective. Outside of work, explore Crypts and develop your Thanatology skill for the new Ghost Historian Aspiration. Engage in dark activities such as bonding with your Pet Crow (but be cautious, as it can be dangerous) or collecting and reading the lost Tarot Cards of Lady Ravendancer Goth, appealing to Sims with the new Macabre trait.
– Goodbye (For Now): Sims grieve in unique ways, with four types of grief reflecting their personalities and relationships with the deceased. Grieving Rituals are customizable and unscripted, allowing you to create events that suit your narrative. In life, Sims can draft Wills to pass down Heirlooms, designate guardians for dependents, and allocate their Simoleons. Honor the departed with memorial displays featuring portraits and inter their urns in Crypts or with Custom Caskets and Gravesites.
– Friendly or Fiendish?: As a Ghost, you can choose to assist or haunt the living. – A Town Worth Haunting*: The boundary between life and death is thin in Ravenwood, a town comprising three neighborhoods. Explore the countryside, take a swim by the mysterious cliff face, or visit the village for unique goods near the old Specter cemetery, brave a haunted house, or attend a festival. While the first two neighborhoods are primarily inhabited by living Sims, the third is a haven for Ghosts, featuring additional festivals and a spectral support group. Living Sims can experience the Baleful Bog for an out-of-body experience, but caution is advised—overindulgence may lead to unexpected consequences.
