GAME OVERVIEW THE TROOP
During the historical event known as D-Day on June 6th, 1944, the Western Allies initiated a significant seaborne invasion to reclaim control of North West Europe from German forces. This marked the beginning of a fierce campaign, where the fields, farms, and villages of the region became a battleground for the deployment of new and deadly weapons that would later become renowned. In the game “The Troop,” players can experience the campaign from the perspective of British and Canadian forces as they confront the German Heer and SS in Normandy. As the player, you will have the opportunity to command infantry, motorized, and armored units in intense turn-based combat against an AI opponent. The AI opponent is designed to be challenging and unpredictable, yet fair and susceptible to mistakes.
