In the game “The Unliving,” you assume the role of a powerful Necromancer, a sorcerer who defies death and commands an army of the undead. The realm of the living is in turmoil, and you are the catalyst for change. Despite the attempts of clerics and lords to seek refuge behind fortified walls, they cannot escape your wrath. Your mission is to vanquish those who stand in your way and transform them into your loyal servants, all in pursuit of a greater purpose. “The Unliving” is an engaging rogue-lite action RPG with strategic elements. You will have the ability to raise the dead, utilize a wide range of spells, and explore a mystical world brought to life through visually stunning pixel-art. Along your journey, you will encounter a diverse cast of characters, both allies and adversaries. Interrogate members of your own necromantic cult, extract information from your enemies, and even engage in dialogue with your own phylacterium to uncover the fragmented memories of the Necromancer and unravel the secrets of immortality. Who knows, you may also uncover the grim truth about the supreme hierarchies of the Church.
