Ten years old is Asya. She wants to play with her pals all day in the backyard, sail paper ships down the stream, and come inside as soon as her mother calls for dinner. However, World War II has overtaken Europe, and millions of Soviet citizens are deported to Germany for forced labor. They include Asya and her mother. Asya escapes a labor camp after several dreadful months there. Home was her only destination. To travel to the homeland and assist Asya in finding her family, you must traverse all of Poland and Germany.
