Underspace, the spiritual successor to Freelancer, is an open-world sandbox RPG with a Lovecraftian twist. In this game, each star system is meticulously handcrafted, offering a plethora of sights and activities to explore. Dive into the enigmatic galaxy of Croft, assume the role of your choice, and thrive either independently or alongside friends in online multiplayer mode (planned for the near-term Early Access roadmap). However, be cautious as the stars are governed by powerful storms.
Whether you prefer to be a miner sifting through the crystallized remains of ancient star creatures, a trader transporting artifacts to distant outposts, a pirate plundering space convoys, an explorer delving into forgotten stellar metropolises, or a hunter pursuing unfathomable monsters emerging from the storms, you will encounter violent weather, eldritch creatures, and the mysteries of the unknown as you leave your mark on the universe. The galaxy is a perilous and unpredictable realm. Hyperspatial storms traverse space, distorting star systems and unleashing peculiar hazards, monstrous entities, and valuable treasures. Traverse more than 110 handcrafted star systems, each susceptible to the whims of the elements.
