Wanderstop is a narrative-driven cozy game about change, tea, and finding one’s place. You play as Alta, a fallen fighter who runs a tea shop in a magical forest, serving the diverse travelers who wander through. But Alta doesn’t want to be here. If she has her way, this tea shop will remain nothing but a fleeting, painful chapter in her life.
In Wanderstop, you’ll manage the tea shop by growing and harvesting ingredients for tea, then blending them in a quirky tea-making contraption. As you interact with the many visitors, you’ll listen to their stories and craft the perfect tea for each of them. When you’re not serving tea, you can tidy up the clearing, decorate the shop to reflect your personal style, or simply relax with a cup of tea and reflect on your thoughts. Sometimes, doing nothing at all is just what the moment calls for.
The shop requires patience and rejects those who seek only unchecked growth. This is a place for reflection, not ambition. And that’s why Alta struggles—this life doesn’t fit her. She’s a fighter, not a shopkeeper. Why would anyone expect the world’s greatest champion to settle down as a calm tea server? She can’t do it. She won’t… Or will she?
