“Don’t Scream” is a thrilling short horror experience developed by two independent developers using Unreal Engine 5. Drawing inspiration from ’90s camcorder found footage, this game presents a unique challenge. Your objective is to explore the enigmatic Pineview Forest for a duration of 18 minutes without uttering a scream. While it may sound simple, there’s a twist. Time only progresses when you move, and the scares are unpredictable. To add to the challenge, you must calibrate your in-game microphone so that even the slightest whimper, jump, or minor squeak is detected as a scream. With numerous dynamic scares, each playthrough promises a distinctive and gripping experience. It’s an ideal game to instill fear in your friends and family. Please note that our lead playtester, who also happens to be my wife, is currently undergoing recovery at a clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
