GAME OVERVIEW FIFA 19
FIFA 19 introduces the UEFA club competitions for the first time, including the prestigious UEFA Champions League. Martin Tyler and Alan Smith return as the primary commentators, while Derek Rae and Lee Dixon join the commentary team specifically for the UEFA competitions mode. Composer Hans Zimmer and rapper Vince Staples have also collaborated to create a new remix of the UEFA Champions League anthem exclusively for the game.
The character Alex Hunter, who made his debut in FIFA 17, returns for the third and final chapter of The Journey, titled The Journey: Champions. As with FIFA 18, Cristiano Ronaldo graces the cover of the standard edition, while both Ronaldo and Neymar appear on the covers of the Champions and Ultimate Editions.
Gameplay in FIFA 19 brings several exciting changes, including the all-new Active Touch System, which overhauls player control. Timed Finishing allows players to press the kick button a second time to control the exact moment the ball is struck. The introduction of 50/50 Battles determines a player’s likelihood of winning loose balls, and Dynamic Tactics lets players set and switch strategies in real-time during a match.
