The game is <strong>turn-based<\/strong> and heavily emphasises <strong>replayability<\/strong>, with <strong>random victory conditions<\/strong> that guide and influence the way you play.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bb_paragraph\">In\u00a0<strong>Roots of Harmony,<\/strong> the game&#8217;s difficulty can vary from one island to another.\u00a0<strong>The choices you make determine the challenges you&#8217;ll face<\/strong>. Every map is different and full of different encounters meticulously designed by a <i>proper<\/i>\u00a0<i>(?)<\/i> human brain.<\/p>\n<p class=\"bb_paragraph\">But the island is not yours, you have <strong>enemies<\/strong>! When you settle on the island for the first time, with just a handful of people, you are in the dark. However, you&#8217;ll soon realise that every land is owned by a <strong>tribe<\/strong>, and that those tribes have made <strong>alliances<\/strong>\u00a0and have their own <strong>procedural units<\/strong>, ready to cause you problems! In other words, apart from a few <strong>pre-battle<\/strong> commands, such as choosing whether to fight in <strong>melee <\/strong>or at<strong> range<\/strong>, staying in the\u00a0<strong>back<\/strong> or going on the\u00a0<strong>frontline<\/strong>, and also picking what\u00a0<strong>blessings<\/strong> to cast, battles play themselves out, and you cannot interact with your units once the combat has started.
