Laysara: Summit Kingdom is a complex city-building game where players are tasked with constructing a new settlement for displaced residents from the lowlands. These towns operate in harmony, forming a trading network that can be customized by revisiting previously developed settlements. The Kingdom of Laysara requires reconstruction, with each mountain presenting its own set of challenges such as varying shapes, vegetation zones, resource availability, and weather conditions.
Players may encounter fertile lowlands suitable for farming or must rely on breeding and mining valuable minerals near icy peaks. In times of resource scarcity, establishing trade routes with other towns is an option. Players must also contend with the constant threat of avalanches. While they cannot be prevented, players can take precautions like afforestation, constructing barriers, or triggering controlled avalanches to mitigate the risk. By devising a strategic plan, players may even harness the power of snow to their advantage, but failure to do so could result in their city being buried and destroyed.
